The Kratzmühle campsite is located on the lake of the same name and directly on the Altmühl cycle path.
The staff is helpful and very friendly, the sanitary facilities and showers are clean and modern and are cleaned several times a day. There is also a small shop with food, drinks and ice cream, and there is also a sausage and meat machine. There is also a bread roll service here, and the list for pre-ordering is available right next to the reception.
Cyclists can stay on the tent meadow for a small fee and e-bikers can easily charge their batteries in the pedal cupboard.
Of course you can swim in the lake, which is easy to reach.
There is also a pretty good restaurant nearby as well as playgrounds and football pitches for children. So families can have a great vacation. Overall, this is all highly recommended!
Addendum:
However, if you want to spend the night there, you should not go to the small tent meadow above the playground, but rather ask if you are allowed to go to the tent meadow at the back. It's much quieter there and it's not particularly far to the second washhouse.
