The Alte Ziegelei in the north of Wiesbaden-Bierstadt is a decaying industrial ruin consisting of several buildings. The company Nath and Oeder manufactured bricks there up until the 1950s.
It is one of 26 brickworks in Wiesbaden; only three of them are (partially) preserved. The heart of the plant is a Hoffmann ring furnace. The Hessian State Office for the Preservation of Monuments classified the furnace and chimney as a cultural monument of industrial and urban history.
