An old farm, a shared dream and three friends: Lisa Gräsel, Sebastian Herz and Philipp Haggenmüller want to open a cheese dairy in Eschach in the Oberallgäu. And the three of them are already in the middle of their project: Philipp's father's old farm is being completely gutted and rebuilt. We visited the three of them at the construction site and asked where their shared passion for cheese actually came from.

I try most of the inns along the way. After skiing on the wooden skis at the Schwärzen lift, I cycled here. It was too cold outside, and inside it's simple but cozy, amidst all the items on the shelves. Please don't ask me what they have; I brought home some fantastic cheese. I fortified myself with some delicious cake, and otherwise I'll have a snack. The staff were relaxed and, despite being 60, they were on first-name terms with me. As far as I can tell, the cheese factory is pretty much done.
