In 2018/2019 the Brother Klaus Association Wolfsricht built a Way of the Cross between Berngau and Wolfsricht. On June 2nd, 2019 the solemn blessing of the Way of the Cross took place. The Brother Klaus Association is the bearer of the Stations of the Cross.

Has the cross played out today? Today we don't just want to look into the past. Today we look particularly at the many sufferings, fears and needs of our fellow human beings in the present. Today we look at the crosses that many people have to bear. Today we ask for courage and enough strength for all of them. The texts of the individual stations want to put this to our hearts.

Stations of the Cross: The passion reports on the suffering and death of Jesus of Nazareth are among the most impressive and oldest texts in the Gospels. It was not until the 17th century that popular piety began to strive to look at the suffering and death of Jesus, to depict it in 14 stages and to follow this path. It begins with the condemnation by Pontius Pilate and depicts the suffering until death and the rest in the grave. We have added the resurrection as the 15th station, because the spirit of Jesus is also at work today through the millennia.
