The humpback meadows are a "specialty" in the valley plains between Mittenwald, Krün and Wallgau. Due to countless bumps, the landscape here looks almost unreal and a little playful. These small humps are a relic of the last Ice Age and are highly worth protecting. That is why the traditional scythe is still used here, fertilizers are dispensed with and herds of sheep and goats graze the humpbacks.
