The “Pearl of the Alps”, the nickname of the very beautiful city of Annecy, is not usurped. It was the historic residence of the counts of Geneva in the 13th century, then of the counts of Savoy in the 15th century. Perhaps this is where its splendor comes from?

Although it is influenced by the surrounding mountains, the presence of the lake alleviates the harshness of winter. Its old town with its cobbled streets, winding canals and brightly colored houses have earned it international fame. Lake Annecy is also very popular and attracts a lot of people in summer.
