The cycle route is essentially a sign indicating the path to follow. That's all. The route takes paths without a shoulder and where the speed limit is 70km/h. The ride is fine for experienced cyclists but as a "veloroute" it's not for everyone.
This “bike path” is nothing more than a few signs showing the way. Most of the route is on roads with no paved shoulders and where the posted speed limit is 70 km/h. Absolutely no painted bike lane. Other than the signs showing the way you have no way of knowing you weren't on any other country road. A nice route for an experienced cyclist but as a “veloroute” it’s really not for everyone.
