It is a railway track forest path that was created in the early 1990s. From April 4, 1896, a small train ran from Burg to Magdeburgerforth and on to Ziesar. The line was closed in 1965. Since 2015 it has been possible to cycle from Küsel to Schopsdorf on the Trassenweg.
