Nice little heap behind the Marina Gelsenkirchen (Stölting Harbor)!
I presume that they were attached to the old one by overburden from the new residential area
Port Graf Bismarck was created!
There are a few small ponds here and from the top of the heap you have
a great view ! You can see many colliery towers from up there!
Since the heap is still fenced off and not accessible, I've never been there
there and of course I didn't take any photos there. . .

During the five-year construction period, the natterjack toad population at the site was protected by appropriate measures. In addition, there were several clutches of little ringed plovers and lapwings during construction, which were also protected. Grass snakes and a red kite were recently sighted in the vicinity of the landscape structure.
