SAJNOVICS CASTLE The predecessor of today's castle was built by the Sajnovics family in the 17th century. at the end of the 18th century. at the beginning of the century. In 1687, Mátyás Sajnovics became the owner, who founded the new village after the Turkish destruction and also built the family castle. His grandson, János Sajnovics, a Jesuit priest, linguist and astronomer, was born here and left the castle with his brother after the Jesuit order. After the extinction of the Sajnovics family, the Batthyányi family became the owners, who significantly expanded the castle. From the Bathyányi family, it then becomes the property of the Dréher family, who transform it and gain its current form.
