Fortress Company "Węgierska Górka"
151 fortress company "Węgierska Górka" - a sub-unit of the Polish Army, formed on August 28, 1939, commanded by Capt. Tadeusz Semik.
151, the fortress company was included in the 1st Mountain Brigade of Col. Janusz Gaładyk. She took part in the battle of Węgierska Górka. It was smashed on September 3, 1939.
"Waligóra" Bunker
A large, one-story artillery traditor (i.e. a bunker with artillery armament) with resistance C, used to fire at approaches to a resistance point. The bunker crew consisted of 1 officer, 3 non-commissioned officers and 17 privates.
During the occupation and after the war, the bunker was not used.
In the 1960s, it served the Polish army as a command post during the annual maneuvers. There is a project to create a second part of the museum dedicated to the battle in it. However, due to modest resources, as well as difficulties in adaptation (partially flooded with water, no electrical installation), this did not happen.
The object was entered in the register of monuments on September 28, 2021 (reg. No. A / 881/2021).
