The 400,000 euro adventure toilet in Titisee

In 2019, a public experience toilet was opened in Titisee, which was built for around 400,000 euros. The luxury locus can hardly be overlooked from the outside. The toilet in the Black Forest design can be found in the bus parking lot, where around 400,000 bus passengers arrive every year.

For visitors who want to feel like a "real Black Forest", the "experience" costs one euro. There is also a disabled toilet.

With the partners "Duravit" and "Kramer", the Hochschwarzwald Tourismus Gesellschaft created the luxurious toilet. So that the guests also feel good, the visit to the toilet is accompanied by native bird calls and the scent of fir trees. Inside the women's restrooms you will find six toilets. One of them is equipped with a so-called "buttock cleaning".

Guests who are keen to experiment can test the toilet with the "rear shower" and the "lady shower" in the women's toilet. In Asia, this "cleaning method" is known everywhere. You can also set the "shower jet intensity", the "shower arm position" and the "water temperature".
