From here you have a beautiful view of the Castle of Trussio, first mentioned in 1257. During the war between the Emperor and the Venetian Republic, the old castle was destroyed in 1511 - the building that can still be seen today was built on its ruins. Having served as a hunting lodge for years, the complex now houses an excellent restaurant.

Its origins are shrouded in mystery, but the castle is mentioned for the first time in 1257. In that year, abandoned by Gislardo di Fratta due to the attacks of Mainardo, count of Gorizia, it was set on fire and rebuilt. In 1511, during the war between the Imperials and the Venetian Republic, the old castle was destroyed, and the current buildings were erected on its ruins.
