The mill is a post mill. The administration of the mill is in the hands of the Wissinks Mühlen Foundation.
The founder and first owner J. H. Wissink lived next to the mill field. The mill has three attics instead of the usual two attics of a post mill. It also has a line shaft with a drive wheel for driving two of the three milling machines.
The history of the mill is connected with the centuries-old Erve Wissink. The mill was built in 1802. The association "Wissink's Mühle" was founded on May 10, 1975. The mill is open every Wednesday and Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Groups can also visit the mill outside opening hours.
A small shop is available, where you u. pancake flour or wheat flour. You can also get documentation about the mill here.
On special mill days, the mill is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are millers ready with answers and a coffee with a bun.
