Elongated hall building with choir closed on three sides and ridge turret. First built in wood in 1748, stone since 1768. Some of the votive paintings that were made because of cattle diseases still hang on the walls. The chapel is the only sacred building in Bavaria in honor of Saint Notburga.

Notburga is one of the few holy maids and one of the most popular Tyrolean and Austrian saints. The life story of this simple maid, the "champion of Sunday rest," has repeatedly provided material for songs, folk plays, and pictorial representations. She is the patron saint of farmers and agriculture, of maids, of the end of the working day, and the patron saint of happy childbirth, against livestock diseases, and all peasant hardships.
