At an altitude of 3,286 meters, skiers make their way towards the valley in winter. In summer, the amazing view is reserved for the bikers who venture up here. It's worth it for that alone! The trail is also cool;)
The Hohtälli with its 3273 m represents the starting point of a grandiose part of Zermatt's ski area. From here, among other things, there are spectacular views of the Dufourspitze, Liskamm and their glacier world. You can also see the new Monte Rosa hut. The White Hare, in my opinion one of the most beautiful slopes in Zermatt, starts at the Hohtälli. From the Hohtälli, the freeride area on the Stockhorn was once and hopefully soon again opened up with a cable car.
The path to the next small peak, the "Red Nose", is easily accessible. There you have a great view and some distance to the gondola station on the Hohtälli
