The Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Cornelle is located in Livrio and next to it there is still the ancient church dedicated to Mary, built during the sixteenth century. The current structure has an octagonal layout, and is placed directly on the road in front, as the actual front is placed sheer above a rocky spur.

The façade is characterized by a quadrangular and vaulted portico, which also covers the portion of the adjacent street, and which leads to the church, while the actual churchyard is located on the side of the same. Crowning there is, partially buffered, a mixtilinear window and the entire facade ends with a horizontal cornice and pitched roof.
The interior has an octagonal plan, small in size but exquisitely decorated and frescoed with a vaulted roof enriched by a central lantern. The presbytery is raised and quadrangular and ends in a flat apsidal backdrop on which the large soasa of the main altar is set. Next to it are the sacristy, the service rooms, and the bell tower.
