Nestled in the Traisental wine-growing region, the 15 m high observation tower rises in the shape of a corkscrew. A circular hiking trail 3.1 km long with a walking time of around 1.5 hours takes you through the beautiful nature of the Eichberger and Ahrenberger Kellergasse.

Enjoy the silence of nature, the scent of the forest floor and of course the wonderful view from the corkscrew, which stretches from the Danube meadows across the Weinviertel to the Waldviertel. You can see from Tullnerfeld to the Kamptal and over the Vienna Woods to the Schneeberg.

Afterwards, the wine taverns in Ahrenberger and Eichberger Kellergasse with their excellent wine and delicious regional delicacies entice you to linger in a cheerful atmosphere. Enjoy the warm hospitality of the Traisental winemakers!

From up here you have a wonderful view over the "wide land" of Lower Austria. To the north you can see over the Tullnerfeld and the Danube valley as far as the Waldviertel and the Weinviertel.
To the south you can see the mountains on nice days. There are vineyards all around and to the east Sitzenberg Castle sits enthroned on a hill.
