The narrow gravel path along the ring canal from Westerende-Kirchloog to Victorbur / Moordorf is the most frequently used part of a cycle path on the drainage canal that goes to Mönkeboe.
During and after rain, the route should be used with caution in some places due to the muddy and slippery depressions. After all, driving errors can quickly lead to a descent into the canal. After all, the few decimetres are on a wall that slopes down on both sides.
Caution is also required in the case of oncoming traffic, especially if you are unsure of a cyclist: collisions will definitely lead to an involuntary baptism. So it is better to drive defensively and, if in doubt, stop and make room.
Otherwise, this path between EJK and Moordorf/Victorbur is a wonderful piece of cycling experience for anyone who is not in a hurry.
