The Voie Verte de Calavon is a section of the Eurovélo 8 and leads through the middle of the Luberon Regional Nature Park. In spring you are greeted by the flowering fruit trees on the left and right of the path, the lavender fields are still dormant. Beautiful views of the mountain ranges of the small and large Luberon.
The beautifully paved cycle path begins in Cavaillon and follows the valley of the small Calavon river for 45km.
There are nicely landscaped rest areas and public toilets in two places; There is also a motorhome parking space at the old Goult train station, unfortunately without a tent area for cyclists.
