After heavy, persistent rainfall, the "small" stream turns into a raging river and the Cap Negret beach turns into a delta.

A wonderful coastal cycle path along Altea, the car-free beach path.
If you really want to experience it, you can go to the absolute opposite of Benidorm, but take a look at this juggernaut via road with mostly cycle paths.
Tip: further along the beach you can still see the gigantic construction sins, but it is becoming increasingly quiet on the equally wide sandy beach.
