Hengsteysee - South Shore Section Hengsteysee Bridge to Lenne estuary
A short section along the south bank, which brings you as a hiker, cyclist or runner on a beautiful route in the countryside from the Hengsteysee bridge to just before the mouth of the Lenn. Worth seeing is also the old railway truss bridge at the Lenne estuary in the Ruhr. The section is laid out so that you can integrate it into different tour variants.

Where the Ruhr and Lenne flow together is the Hengste See. The waterfront promenade can be very crowded when the weather is good. There are also many families with children on the road, so you should drive carefully and cautiously.
