The trail descent from the grill hut to the refuge is unfortunately not for beginners (risk of falling). The section up to the Mariengrotte is more likely to be classified as S1, except for the steps directly in front of the grotto. I would classify the section from the Mariengrotte to the refuge as S2, although there are two variants for
Exit at the end of the trail there. The left to the refuge and another after
right towards Eisenbach which has to be rated S2/3 but is currently blocked by a fallen oak. Caution! The section from the Mariengrotte to the refuge can sometimes be found with or without steps.

The paved area in front of the Mariengrotte is as slippery as soft soap at this time of year! 😅

The trail is not rideable uphill, although there may be specialists who can do it, but for the majority of cyclists, pushing is the rule.
