The city forest of Gelsenkirchen-Buer covers an area of approximately 28 hectares

(The so-called Buerschen green belt)

Here you can find holly, wild currants, hawthorn, yew and garlic vines along the way, but the American red oak is also represented in the city forest. A small but nice park that also has a beautiful lake and there is plenty of space for sporting activities as well as a great fitness trail.
