Fischergasse is a 17th-century structure and was used as a court prison until 1965. After 40 years of vacancy, a private association brought the former Fronfest back to life, lovingly and professionally restored the walls and made them accessible to the public. The rooms on the first floor serve as coveted exhibition spaces for artists and cultural associations all year round. Source: freising.de

The former Old Prison in Freising now offers an extensive cultural program with exhibitions and a small museum.

Where courts once sat, people were arrested and even witch trials were held, there are now exhibition rooms, a small museum and a quaint wine bar. The Old Prison on Fischergasse is a building from the 17th century and was used as a court prison until 1965.
