The Stuckenborstel watermill is located on the Wieste River. The current watermill was built in 1790.
A previous mill was mentioned in a document in 1631. This first water mill stood in the same place.
From 1987 to 1994 the mill was extensively restored. The Stuckenborstel watermill has been fully functional again since then.
Visits are possible on the German Milling Day (Whit Monday) or after registering with the Sottrum local history association.

In 1790 this mill was built. It is the only one of 5 watermills that has survived. The mill was opened in 1994 after restoration work for inspection. Ground is not here anymore. Guided tours take place on selected days (open day) or on request.
