Avenues, beech forests and ponds or vijver, rows of trees and water design, it is not uncommon for small waterfalls to be installed; we walk through man-made landscapes.
Last but not least, the fact that these creations are often very old means that the boundaries between park and natural landscapes are blurred.
Today we often visit truly perfect examples of the above-mentioned design rule, and then we ask ourselves whether we are standing in the forest or whether this can still be described as a park.

The numerous avenues that we walk or cross today demonstrate a more obvious desire to create.
To the west of the heath lies Warnsborn, another wooded park that was created north of the Groot Warnsborn estate.
We can't complain about a lack of beautifully situated benches today and so you'll soon find us sitting on such a fine bench by a pond fed by the "Beek van Warnsborn".
