The cycle path was actually well-intentioned, but way too narrow in parts and limited by walls/bollards. In addition, vacationers who drive without concentration (looking at the sea, inline skating, not handling their rental bikes well or even taking selfies... while driving.) For example, with the racing bike it's only fun if you are willing to drive just as slowly. Otherwise I recommend one of the parallel streets.
Unfortunately, I speak from experience, I was mowed down by a downhill handlebar and roughly kissed the bike lane and wall.
