I was not prepared for this part of the track. Komoot had planned the tour. I had only entered Henstedt-Ulzburg as a stopover to Bad Segeberg. And then I am led on a dream road for cyclists! It is fabulous. The surface is easy to ride. Many benches for a break. Sign on the nearby source area of the Alster (detour ?!). The path is lined with fruit trees> (currently in bloom). Runs through beautiful slightly undulating landscape. Appetite? Here we go !

The cycle path from Bad Oldesloe to Henstedt-Ulzburg leads 27 kilometers along the former small railway line of Elmshorn-Barmstedt-Oldesloer-Eisenbahn AG (EBOE). There has been no train on this route since 1973. On information boards along the way you can learn a lot about the history of the EBOE.
The tour starts at the southern end of the spa park in Bad Oldesloe and you drive via Blumdendorf and Grabau to the district of Segeberg. The longest fruit and wood educational trail in Europe is right on this BahnRadWeg. If the trees are bearing fruit, you can always treat yourself to a refreshment between Blumdendorf and Henstedt-Ulzburg.
The route is really easy and relaxed to cycle with beautiful views of the surrounding nature.

Very nice! 99.9 percent nature. Between Nahe and Bad Oldesloe worth a trip to the Grabauer See.
