Beautiful castle on the outskirts of the Seßlach district of Heilgersdorf, which probably dates from the 14th century. In the 17th century, the original building had to give way to a baroque new building - these features have been well preserved to this day.

Heilgersdorf Castle is somewhat hidden on the edge of the Heilgersdorf district of Seßlach in the Coburg district of Upper Franconia. The former noble residence was used as a forester's lodge, school and refugee camp in the 19th and 20th centuries, but has managed to retain its representative baroque architectural forms to this day.
