Not far from road 4203, about 2km from Ao Nang Mao harbor, the Buddha rises above many other creatures: elephants, turtles, dragons, snakes, warriors, etc. The entire temple is richly decorated and gilded. The Buddha is reached via approx. 200 steep, partly very short steps, with a landing after about 25 steps. The higher you go, the more magnificent the view of the mountain scenery is. You go back a slightly more comfortable path along the side of the temple. Overall it is a very nice facility. In Google Maps it is called "Mountain Buddha Temple".
It is definitely worth walking or taking a tuk tuk here. The temple is beautiful with its various themed floors on several levels. Important! The dress code is conservative. Cover your knees and don't expose your shoulders. If you notice this too late, you can climb the steps to the left and right of the temple and just don't walk around on the levels. Maybe take a beach towel with you and wrap it around yourself. This way we were able to comply with the dress code on site.
