There used to be a restaurant in the Sachsenhäuser Warte. Then closed for a long time.
Here is the current status: (09/15/2018)
"The Sachsenhäuser Warte has been empty for a year and a half, the restaurant is closed. The first renovation work has begun. However, there is still no final decision in the city parliament as to what should be done with the historic building to be restored. Here is the current status (July 6th, 2020) City councilors agree to the proposal of the building department for the renovation of the gastronomy at the Sachsenhäuser Warte. Suggestion: big solution, "That's why I'm committed to implementing the big solution," said Schneider. "I hope that after the planning is complete, the city council will provide the necessary investment funds." The planning is estimated to be around two years, the construction project itself will take one and a half to two years. (ffm)
