The Lage brickworks is one of eight locations of the LWL Industrial Museum in Lage, North Rhine-Westphalia. The brickworks produced bricks from 1909 to 1979, and in 2001 the fully preserved facility became a museum. It is an anchor point on the European Route of Industrial Heritage.

Ideal stopover on a bike tour in the historical atmosphere of the LWL Brickworks Museum.
Lots of information about the history of brick production (bricks are still fired in the old ring kiln) provide information about the life and work of the "Tichler" (brickmakers)
--> but a visit to the museum cafe "Tichlerstoben" is also highly recommended, where you can also get the delicious Lippe Pickert
