      The Haring Chapel
      The chapel was built in 1935 by Jakob Lang, who was then the parish priest in Rott, and his brother Martin Lang. A fateful event prompted Jakob Lang to build this chapel. He was working with his brother Martin up in the Rockerl with woodwork when suddenly the oxen fell into the gravel pit. As a thank you for the fact that the people were spared, he built the Haringer chapel. The painting inside the chapel was made by a painter from Aßling. In 2010, the Haringer chapel, which had fallen into disrepair over the years, was renovated on the initiative of the citizens of Rott and the active support of the Rotter boys' association under the direction of Andreas Wallner.
