          The Meuselbacher dome rises 786 m above sea level. NHN in the Thuringian Slate Mountains. Even the ascent from Cursdorf shows magnificent distant views. In clear weather, the view from the summit extends up to 60 km. At the moment the tower with the guest house is closed for renovation, but that is not bad, because for a bivouac in the open air the place is best suited and one has still more peace.

            The Meuselbacher Kuppe offers excellent views of the surrounding communities and mountain landscapes, as well as a panoramic view of the Thuringian Forest.

                At an altitude of 786.1 m, we reach the Meuselbacher Kuppe. The inn with its tower is unfortunately closed. Today, the view over the valleys and mountains is dull and gray.
