The church of San Michele Arcangelo di Gaibola is an ancient parish church which seems to date back to the 8th century. Over the centuries, the church was rebuilt several times.
The Church of San Michele di Gaibola is a place of great historical and cultural interest which deserves to be visited during an excursion in the nearby hills.
Its construction dates back to the eighth century, during the Lombard age, but the first documented news dates back only to 1221. The church offers a beautiful panorama of the city and the hills, thanks to its position surrounded by nature.
Inside the church, there are numerous works of art, in particular, the 15th century fresco depicting the Madonna and Child.
