The village of Wachendorf shines with a chic town centre. The belfry was erected in 2009 and rings at 11 a.m. on the death and 6 p.m. on the birth of a Wachendorf citizen. The tradition goes back to the first belfry from 1707. Wachendorf is also a stop for the "Kaffkieker" and is known as the former residence of the show master Rudi Carrell.

An information board provides information about the interesting history and long tradition of the Wachendorfer Glockenstuhl.
