The AllerHoheit cycle path is the link between the places and the landscape in which Clara lived. Her life as a mother, country mistress, administrator and as a Protestant forms the background for a confrontation with the changing society and the role of women in the 16th century. The focal point is her family, economic, social and religious work, whose traces can be discovered in the old town and castle. The wonderful castle park with old trees, pond and brewhouse invites you to stroll.
When Franz died, Clara had to move into her widow's residence in Fallersleben Castle. There is a lot to report about her life here.
As was usual for a widow from the nobility, she took on a variety of tasks in Fallersleben. From the revenue she earned, she had to pay for her little farm, her livelihood and that of her daughters.
Fallersleben was secured during Clara's widowhood with wall and ditch and four gates - West Gate, Gröpertor in the east, courtyard gate to the castle side in the south and New Gate in the north.
