Historic tower dating back to the Aragonese period, built by Frederick II (13th century), part of the dense control network to protect the Adriatic coasts. Base has a quadrangular plan with a truncated pyramid, with a scarp, variable, from 5 ° to 10 °. Being set back from the others (usually close to the sea) it is to be counted among the Watchtowers.
