The parish church of Santo Stefano in the stately village of Arogno, famous for its watch factories, has been rebuilt several times (17th/19th centuries). It has an interesting façade from the early 17th century. The choir in the church is surmounted by a dome. On the right side of the neoclassical main altar is a Renaissance stone tabernacle in the Rodari style (16th century). On the vault of the nave there is a fresco depicting the glorification of Saint Stephen. The frescoes on the dome date from the early 18th century and were probably painted by Luca Antonio Colomba. The refined stuccoes in the Rosary Chapel were created by the local artist G. Antonio Colomba. The author of the 17th century altarpiece is unknown. The Chapel of St. Anthony contains illusionistic frescoes from 1730 attributed to Luca Antonio Colomba, while the Chapel of the Epiphany features frescoes by Giovanni Antonio Colomba and an altarpiece depicting the Adoration of the Magi.
The ossuary next to the church dates from the 18th century and is decorated with Baroque stuccoes.
