There are not many places in the world from which you can enjoy uninterrupted views of the Großglockner, Zugspitze and Dolomites at the same time. The panoramic terraces on the Hintertux Glacier are located at an altitude of 3,250 meters and offer precisely this unique view over the Alps.
At the summit of the Gefrorene Wand mountain station is the popular viewing terrace, which can be reached by cable car. Even taking the cable car, Gletscherbus 3, is an experience. It is the only cable car in the region whose mountain station is at over 3,000 meters above sea level - and the ascent is correspondingly exciting.
From the gondola, visitors can enjoy a fantastic panorama: the Tux Alps and the Zillertal nature park are imposing at their feet.
