The Schoenstatt Marienpfalz is located in Herxheim near Landau in the heart of the southern Palatinate. In 1968 the Schoenstatt family of the Speyer diocese built a chapel here in honor of the "Mother Thrice Admirable"
Next to the chapel an educational center was built, the spiritual center - the "Marienpfalz". It aims to help keep the Marian heritage alive in the diocese.
Many people come to the Chapel of Mercy and the conference house to pray, draw strength and realign themselves for their service in the Church and in the world. Guests are welcome, conferences with their own speakers from the church and communal areas are happy to come to the house
The Marienpfalz lies in the middle of the charming nature of the southern wine route with vineyards and forest and offers a wonderful view over the Rhine plain to the Haardt with its vines and the Palatinate Forest.
Individual guests, especially pilgrims from the nearby Jakobusweg, are always welcome. The pilgrims are looked after by Sisters of Mary and Schoenstatt priests.
