We postponed this trip 3 times due to bad weather on the mountain. So it's important to look at the forecasts.
Otherwise you will be annoyed if there is no nice view of the Matterhorn (we had a 900km journey)
Luckily we had great weather on day 2. Drinking and eating, of course, are included.
A charging station for e-bikes would be specified at the Schwarzsee restaurant, but in the end there were only several sockets. Of course, that doesn't work without a charger. The year before on the Vorab glacier there were suitable plugs for all bikes.
So economical when driving up with the battery. But it can be done in tour mode (Bosch).
Descent in any case on the Märchenwald Trail ... fantastic descent. We then went up the ski slopes from Schwarzsee to the Hörnlibahn mountain station to get to the Glacier Grotto.
