The church in Tarnówko was probably built at the end of the 15th century. In the 18th and 19th centuries it was rebuilt, probably the window and door openings were changed. During World War II the temple was seriously damaged. Since then it has remained abandoned, systematically deteriorating.

To this day only the tower has survived from the original mass of the church. In the ground floor you can see the entrance portal and the passage to the nave. Currently, the area of the church and the adjacent cemetery is neglected and overgrown.
