Wildbad Kreuth is part of the municipality of Kreuth. It is owned by the dukes in Bavaria from the Wittelsbach family and Helene lives in Bavaria. The site was used as a spa by the Tegernsee Monastery and attracted prominent guests in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Today it has a somewhat morbid charm, the Alte Bad opposite is an inn that looks inviting.
