The Korpershoek is a corn mill located just west of the Dutch town of Schipluiden. A mill at this location is mentioned as early as 1541. The mill owes its name to the carp that spawn and rear their eggs here.

In 1625, a new mill was built on the site, which remained in service until July 21, 1865. After being struck by lightning that day, the mill was rebuilt. On February 2, 1945, another major fire broke out, after which it was decided to rebuild the Korpershoek, using parts from the De Jonge Pieter mill in Leimuiden. The foundation stone for the reconstruction was laid on May 13, 1950. The reconstruction was completed on November 10, 1951, and the mill was put back into service. The mill was restored in 1991. A memorial stone in the wall reads:

1772 - 1950
Fire destroyed the old mill
But the new one is happily turning again
First unemployed in Leimuiden

Now I grind for Schipluiden

The text reminds us that the mill that stands there today was built in Leimuiden in 1772 and moved to Schipluiden in 1950.
