The Rhine bridge at Maxau is a connection for both pedestrians and cyclists as well as cars and trams between Baden-Württemberg (Maxau) and Rhineland-Palatinate (Wörth). The present bridge is the fifth or sixth building on this site since the construction of the first Rhine crossing in 1840.
