In the valley of the Lametbach near Mengerschied there is a long, towering slate rock on which a rest bench offers a great view of the valley. Some surrounding landmarks are carved into the massive wooden tabletop.
Accessible from a junction on Banhofstraße. Or for the daring from St Klopp direct ascent to the rock. But only if you are sure-footed and wear sturdy shoes, as moss and shards of slate are dangerously slippery in many places. Not recommended downwards!
