Before entering the Safiental valley, there are two bridges crossing the Versamer Tobel. One historic bridge and one new bridge, which has been open to traffic since 2012. The second bridge, built in 1897, can now only be used on foot or by bicycle. Prepare yourself for a spectacular view of the deep ravine.
The old Versamer Tobelbrücke is an 1897 built iron bridge of 70 meters in length. Not only does it have significance in terms of the history of technology (and should therefore be preserved after completion of the new bridge), it also offers a spectacular view of the Tobel Gorge.
