This short but enjoyable tour at the foot of the mighty Obernberger Tribulaun takes you to the Obernberger See, a natural jewel in the midst of untouched landscape. Summer and winter alike, this idyllic corner of the world casts its spell over visitors from all over the world. Especially because of the small lake church, which is not only good for photos. You should only bring some tea and provisions with you for your visit to the lake. There are no places to stop for a break here - but that is also what gives this place its natural charm ...
From the starting point at the Waldesruh car park, you first walk over a farm road (toboggan run) to behind a bridge. From there you trudge on across the snow-covered meadows past the Unterreinsalm and Oberreinsalm and keep going uphill to the right until you reach the former inn on the lake. Now you follow the path on the right side of the lake - it leads through snow-covered forest along the entire lake shore and back to the Seegasthaus. On the way you will come across the picturesque little lake church "Maria am See". The descent is either via the toboggan run or the same as the ascent.
